Asset Searches
Comprehensive Searches to locate real property, investments,
bank accounts, business reports and financial interests.
GBI AND ASSOCIATES' complete asset report provides comprehensive
research and critical analysis of the financial condition of an individual or
entity by our skilled investigative staff. The report is tailored to your
specific needs and budget requirements, and is billed at the rate of $80.00 per
hour, plus expenses. Components for this report may include:
Real Property: Current real estate ownership information,
normally incorporating statewide searches of Arizona and California, including
tax parcel number, legal description, tax assessment valuation, property use,
encumbrances, and the history of the subject's ownership of the properties.
Real Estate ownership searches are available anywhere in the United
States.
The search includes transfers of real estate during the
previous two years, which could detect preferential or fraudulent conveyances.
We identify the buyer, the sales price, and the description of the property
conveyed.
Mortgage Investments: This search includes identifying
beneficial interest in mortgages or deeds of trust. The status of any
beneficial interest is determined, including the principal amount of the
mortgage and identity of the property.
Vehicle, Aircraft, and Watercraft: Motor vehicle, watercraft,
and aircraft ownership is determined, including lien information when
available.
Checking and Savings Accounts: Identification is made of
checking and savings accounts, money market accounts, and certificates of
deposit.
Investment Accounts: Investment accounts with brokerage firms
are identified.
Businesses: Partnerships and businesses will be identified,
including identities of all principals and real estate holdings of the entities
identified. Financial statements will be obtained if available.
Credit History: Consumer credit profile (subject compliance
with the Fair Credit Reporting Act).
Business Credit Reports: Business credit files are available
if needed. Dun and Bradstreet reports on entities ore obtained when deemed
feasible.
Media Sources: Research is conducted of national, regional,
and local newspapers, magazines, and journals.
UCC Filings: This search identifies financing statements and
security agreements filed with the County Recorder and Secretary of State,
including a description of the collateral and identification of the secured
party.
Judgments, Tax Liens, and Bankruptcies: Judgments, tax liens,
and bankruptcies are identified.
Judgments include the amount, case
number, entry date, and creditor's name. Tax liens include the amount, tax
period(s) covered, and name of claimant.
Bankruptcy filings are
identified, and details can be obtained if necessary.
Litigation: State and federal court searches are conducted for
civil and criminal filings, including a thorough case review of court cases
identified for information that may lead to assets.
Regulatory Searches: Examination is conducted of records
maintained by government regulatory and licensing agencies.
Financial Review: We conduct a detailed review of available
financial information submitted by the subject and compare it to our
investigative results, to identify discrepancies.
Special Investigations: Other "special" investigative
techniques can be used if warranted.
